Udyavarites Celebrate Their 15th Annual Feast With Splendour

Report By Canute Moras Photographs: Gladson D’sa Dubai, Nov 30 : ‘Udyavarites UAE” the association of udyavara parishioners residing in UAE, celebrated St Francis Xaviers Annual Feast” at President Hotel , Karama, Dubai on 28th November. The Annual event marks 15 years of Udyavarites. Since the last 15 years we have been successfully running the association and fulfilling our mission of Unity, Generosity and Service. These events are means of strengthening the bonds between our udyavara parishioners, their families and friends. The program commenced with a Prayer Song by our talented singers followed by Bible Reading. Our President, Mr Robert Fernandes warmly welcomed the gathering, He thanked the sponsors and well wishers for supporting and strengthening Udyavarites for the last 15 years and requested them to continue the generosity in future. He said, their gesture has encouraged the committee members to work hard and provide educational and medical help to the needy back home in Udyavara. The Entertainment was a potboiler of Skits, Dance, Live Music, Songs, Spot prizes and many more. Our veteran team of artists comprising of Gerald, Gilbert, Jeffery,Joacky, Robert, Clarence, Donny, Vivian, Lenny, Albina and Renita. presented Six hilarious skits and fascinated the whole audience with laughter. Special Bollywood remix dance was performed by Udyavarites Tapori group members Ryan, Rohan, Clarence, Ronny, Jeffery and Canute. Young Udyavarites represented by Natasha and Ashlyn performed an nice dance. Live music and songs were performed by Tushaara, Monica, Fabella and supported by many other singers. The event was interspersed with many spot prizes and audience showed good interest and participation. Renowned MC, Roshan Dsilva Vamanjoor compered the show with great finesse and ensured good participation of audience. Vote of Thanks was given by Canute Moras and Lotto draw was orgainsed by Raphael Dsouza. President Hotel management and staff served sumptuous lunch buffet and satiated the taste buds of all with good service to everyone’s satisfaction. The audience of about 225 completely enjoyed the show and gave encouraging reviews. Uyavarites President and Committee Members thank one and all for their continuous support.
